MSMEs see 20% average growth in revenue after integrating with ONDC

MSMEs in tier-II and -III cities have reported an average 20 per cent growth in their revenues after their integration with the government’s Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), payments company EasyPay has said.
The data from EasyPay – which last year joined ONDC as a seller app after offering its retail and financial services solutions on ONDC –has showed that Rajasthan, Gujarat and Maharashtra were the top three States with maximum number of MSMEs onboarding onto the ONDC platform.
The company has added that it is looking to integrate over hundreds of thousands of businesses by 2026-27.
“We believe that every MSME, no matter how small or remote, should have equal access to the tools and opportunities of the digital economy. ONDC is a game-changer in that journey, and we are here to ensure that small businesses get onboarded and flourish,” said Nilay Patel, the founder and managing director of EasyPay.
The company supports MSMEs with door-to-door outreach through field agents, vernacular workshops for businesses, on-demand digital support and solution suite with storefront creation, payment integration, capital access and analytics.
“Our collaboration with ONDC demonstrates that commerce can be democratic, decentralised and powered by small-town India,” added Mr Patel.
