RECPDCL hands over four SPV-specific transmission projects

REC Power Development and Consultancy (RECPDCL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of REC, the Maharatna CPSU under the aegis of the Ministry of Power, has handed over four project-specific special purpose vehicles (SPVs) of ISTS Transmission Project under TBCB route.
The four SPV projects handed over by RECPDCL are Banaskantha Transco, Kurnool-IV Transmission, Rajasthan V Power Transmission and Ratle Kiru Power Transmission.
Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL) has emerged as the transmission service provider through tariff-based competitive bidding process conducted by RECPDCL, the bid process coordinator for development of transmission projects on a Build, Own, Operate and Transfer (BOOT) basis.
The SPVs were handed over by RECPDCL CEO T S C Bosh, to PGCIL Executive Director Pankaj Pandey in the presence of senior officials of RECPDCL, PGCIL and Central Transmission Utility of India Limited.
The fourth SPV was handed over by RECPDCL CEO T S C Bosh to IndiGrid 2 Vice-President and Head (Commercial) Puneet Singh Chauhan in the presence of senior officials of RECPDCL, IndiGrid 2 and Central Transmission Utility of India.
